Welcome to plan Disney, Stephany! We are glad you stopped by with your question. It is important to "
Know Before You Go"!
I recall a few years ago when the list of prohibited items in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules stated that wagons were not permitted, there was some misunderstanding about whether the restriction included "stroller wagons". In a
recent update to the rules, the language was rewritten to clarify: "Stroller wagons, whether pushed or pulled, will not be permitted at any theme park or water park or at indoor venues at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex."
I know that little legs may not be able to tolerate the amount of walking that a visit to Walt Disney World Resort usually entails. You are welcome to bring your own stroller, as long as it fits within the allowable dimensions of 31" wide and 52" long.
Stroller rentals are also available in the theme parks and at Disney Springs. I found the rental strollers are really great for children who might not necessarily use a stroller at home. They are low to the ground, making it easy for children to get in and out on their own, and they are also very easy to push and maneuver. I recall once when my kids were small, I was able to easily push two strollers at once, one in each hand! Walt Disney World recently debuted
a brand new fleet of strollers with adorable Mickey and Minnie Mouse designs. You'll also find several independent companies in the greater Orlando area that offer stroller rentals, along with other baby equipment and mobility aids. ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider.
Stephany, if you have any additional questions, please stop by planDisney again anytime. We are always happy to help.
