Hi! Even though we are not staying at the WDW resort, can we still make reservations for the character dining events? If so, do we just pay for our dinner at that particular restaurant? Thanks!

    Hi Kelly,

Everyone is welcome to enjoy character dining at the Disney parks and resorts. You don't have to be staying at any particular hotel or even on Disney property. Every day, there are many off-site guests and Orlando area locals who have a great time dining at character meals alongside guests staying at the Disney hotels.

You can make reservations for character dining up to 180 days in advance via the DisneyWorld.com website or by calling Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE.

And you are correct, once you're at the restaurant you'll simply pay for your meal as if you were dining anywhere else. You can use cash, credit cards, debit cards, Disney gift cards, etc.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
