Can I use my eticket if I forgot my magic band

Welcome to planDisney, Penelope! I hope your travels are going smoothly and you'll be on Walt Disney World Resort soil soon. My husband's theory is that the earlier he packs for a trip, the more likely he is to forget something. So, if you packed in advance, maybe he's right! Let's look at how you can gain admission to the Most Magical Place on Earth this week.

I'm sorry you left your MagicBand behind, but Hakuna Matata! You have a few options to scan in at the theme parks. First, you can use Disney MagicMobile service. Once your theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can select the Disney MagicMobile tile in your mobile app. Follow the instructions to add your tickets to your phone's wallet. You'll scan your phone at the theme park entrance just like you would your band. It's as easy as gooseberry pie!

Another option is to request a Key to the World Card at Guest Relations or your Disney Resort Hotel. Cast Members can link this plastic card to your account so you can easily scan into the parks. My final suggestion is to purchase a brand new MagicBand+ once you arrive. Most gift shops carry a selection, and you can link it to your account using your new band's serial number. You'll have a practical souvenir to remind you not to pack so early next time! Ha!

Penelope, I'm showering you with pixie dust so your visit goes magically from now on. Have a fabulous time, and please stop by planDisney again.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
