Hi Praveen,
Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm glad you sailed by with your question. I know staying in touch is important, even while on vacation so let's get right to your question!
Unfortunately, there are no ethernet cable ports in Disney Wish staterooms. If your laptop will connect to WiFi, I have good news for you. Disney Cruise Line's upgraded WiFi service offers three options from which to choose depending on how you intend to use the internet. (Prices and terms are subject to change.)
- The Stay Connected package allows you to keep up with social media, including posting photos.
- The Basic Surf package has the added benefit of checking email, providing internet access, and voice calls.
- The Premium Surf package offers all of the above with faster connection speeds, streaming for short videos and music, plus video calling. Streaming from services like Netflix and Hulu is not permitted.
Each package is priced per device, not per room. However, you can log off of one device and log in to another. To purchase, log in to your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and select Connect to Internet on the homepage. If you have any issues or questions, stop by the
Guest Services Desk (Deck 4, Midship), and a Crew Member will be happy to assist you.
Praveen, while you aren't connected to the internet, I hope you will spend time connecting with some of your favorite
Disney Characters onboard! I especially love greeting Chip and Dale or Goofy after spending the day on
Disney Castaway Cay. You will usually find them in the Grand Atrium in their casual sailing attire. They will make you forget your web-based woes!
I hope this information is helpful to you as you count down the minutes until your cruise and that you have a relaxing time!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
