Welcome to planDisney, Stefanie! My family stayed at the
Pixar Place Hotel in November, and we loved discovering all the little details and Easter eggs hidden throughout. Everywhere we turned, it felt like we had stepped into a scene from a Pixar film! But if I had to choose a favorite touch, it would be the Luxo Jr. desk lamp inside our hotel room. Nothing says Pixar magic quite like that iconic little lamp.
Unfortunately, a reopening date for the pool at the Pixar Place Hotel hasn’t been announced yet. But don’t worry, you can still enjoy the Pixar Place Hotel pool deck for fireworks viewing on select nights during its refurbishment. Plus, as a guest of the Pixar Place Hotel, you have access to the pools at
Disneyland Hotel (including the Monorail Pool and its waterslides). So, if you’re looking to make a splash like Dory, you’ve got options! There’s even a shuttle available between the two hotels. Just stop by the Front Desk for more information on how to use this service.
Now, here’s something that would make even Lightning McQueen say “Ka-chow!”: the exclusive entrance into Disney California Adventure just for hotel guests! This entrance is located directly across the street from the Pixar Place Hotel and drops you right into Pixar Pier. After a full day of fun, it makes heading back to your hotel room so much easier. No need to trek all the way through the park when your cozy bed (and maybe even a rewatch of Toy Story) is just steps away. My family found this entrance incredibly convenient, especially after a day filled with adventure.
Speaking of early adventures, Stefanie, I also want to remind you that as a guest of Pixar Place Hotel, you’ll enjoy an extra sprinkle of magic with Early Entry! This means you’ll have access to Disneyland or Disney California Adventure 30 minutes before regular opening each day of your stay. The Early Entry schedule is available on the
Disneyland website, and all you need is your room key and theme park reservation to take advantage of this perk. It’s a fantastic way to jump straight into the fun! My family loves heading directly to Incredicoaster before the standby line builds up.
If you have any more questions as you prepare for your trip, feel free to reach out to me or any of the other panelists here at planDisney.
Wishing you an incredible trip!
