What is the estimate travel time between parks and POR if we are using our own car (not WDW transportation)?

Hi Jeanne! From the Port Orleans Riverside, you should be able to reach any of the parks in about 15 to 20 minutes by driving. However, keep in mind that once you arrive, you'll need time to park your car and you will likely have to take a tram from the parking lot to the park entrance. My family has often driven to Disney World, and we've used our car to travel from our resort to the parks. It's nice to be able to hop in the car when you're ready to go, rather than waiting on a bus to arrive, but because you have to walk from the resort to the parking lot and walk or take transportation from the parking lot to the park entrances, it's not necessarily quicker than taking the bus. For this reason, we've found it's more convenient (and often faster) to take the bus to the theme parks from our resort. However, having a car comes in handy when you want to travel from one resort to another for dining reservations. Driving is much quicker and easier than using Disney transportation in this circumstance.

Hope you have a wonderful vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
