Bright suns, Mayte!
Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for trusting us to help you plan your intergalactic travel.
The good news is that shipping from the
planet Batuu to our home galaxy is very accessible. The bad news is that shipments are processed through First Order Cargo. I guess if there’s one thing the First Order is good at, it’s logistics!
To find out how much it will cost to ship merchandise home from
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, including lightsabers from
Savi’s Workshop, you may speak to one of the officers at
First Order Cargo. You’ll need your original receipts and some credits (money). If there are two languages the First Order knows best, they are paperwork and credits. Fortunately, shipping costs are based on the price paid for merchandise rather than size or weight. So the length of your lightsaber won’t be a concern, even if it is a Jedi’s weapon of choice.
The last time I was able to check on shipping prices earlier this year, I was informed that shipping to locations in the continental United States would range from $4.95 to $39.95, depending on the purchase price of the items being shipped. I would estimate the price of shipping a handbuilt lightsaber to be somewhere in the middle of that range. If you also include with the shipment any additional accessories from
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities or souvenirs from other merchants of the
Black Spire Outpost, the shipping costs may go up. Keep in mind that prices are subject to change. So those figures may have increased by the time you visit the
Outer Rim.
Thanks for sending us your question, Mayte. Feel free to visit us here at planDisney if we can help with other planning for your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the Disneyland Resort.
May the Force be with you!
