ESPN has the Princess Half Marathon on Feb 22-24 which happens to be the same time that I was looking at for our vacation. Also Feb 15-18 is Twirl Mania & 19th is Presidents Day. Should I avoid both of these weekends? Will these events impact our vacat

It's so great to hEAR back from you, Tracy!  You are very smart to consider Holidays and other events happening at Walt Disney World when choosing a time to visit the "Happiest Place on Earth!"  The unofficial website allears.net features a Historic Attendance chart based on what the traditional crowd levels have been throughout the years. Based on their Historic Attendance chart, Presidents' Day Weekend is considered "Highest Attendance;" whereas, the remainder of the month of February is listed as "Moderate Attendance" levels. I asked my fellow Moms Panel buddy, Lori, who is our RunDisney mom about the crowd levels for this year's Princess Half Marathon Weekend since she was there. She said the parks were not too bad after the race, which is held on Sunday morning. I would think Presidents' Day Weekend would be the busier of the two weekends to visit. If the weekend of the Princess Half Marathon is when you had your heart set on going and those dates work best for your schedule, then I would recommend visiting then. I do think it should be less busy than Spring Break Holidays, the Summer months and other major Holidays. Although it is truly impossible to predict these things for sure, there are definitely times of the year that I know I would probably not go if I had my choice and others that I realize may be a little crowded, but is the most ideal for my children's school calendars. For example, my family visited over Memorial Day Weekend last month and while we have been there in past years when it was really busy, this year I felt the parks were very easy to manage and not as crowded as I have seen in the past. I would personally travel during the Princess Half Marathon weekend without hesitation. I hope this information helps!  Please feel free to write back with any additional questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a Magical "Crowd Free" Vacation, Tracy!
    Happy Planning,
