Erin--you are fantastic! You know SO MUCH about Disneyworld! I am wondering what your absolute favorite, can't miss activity to do/see is at WDW? Love your advice and want your valued opinion! Thank you!

Thank you so much! I'm blushing as red as Minnie's dress.

I've been sitting here for an hour trying figure out how to answer your question. Do I tell her about Soarin'? There's wind in your hair as your feet almost touch the treetops. Do I tell her about Artist Point? The salmon is sublime and the service is impeccable. Do I tell her about Crushin' Gusher? It's a roller coaster AND a water slide! Do I tell her about the Kilimanjaro Safari? We've been close enough to a rhino to reach out and touch it (but we didn't). Do I tell her about Cirque du Soleil? The performance is breathtaking.

Then I realized that I couldn't decide what to tell you not to miss because my favorite Disney experiences have little to do with the actual rides and shows (though those are, of course, great) and everything to do with the moments I've shared with my family on those rides and shows. I could give you a list: Wishes, Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear. Those are definitely highlights. But that's not what makes WDW special to me.

So, here are some things that my family doesn't miss when we're at WDW:

    - We always eat at the Biergarten in Epcot because that's where my oldest daughter made her stage debut.
    - We always go on the Tower of Terror because that's where we realized that my shy child is secretly a daredevil. Who knew?
    - We always see the Hoop Dee Doo Revue because I love listening to my husband laugh at the super silly jokes.
    - We always try on the giant sombreros at Epcot's Mexico because how can you not try on a giant sombrero  :-)
    - And we always plan a character meal with Mickey Mouse because that's how it all began.

I encourage you to experience the headliner attractions (Illuminations, Turtle Talk, Expedition Everest). But what you're not going to want to miss is the time with your family. I guarantee you that your kids will remember Mom wearing mouse ears all day just as much as they will remember Space Mountain.
