Erin-one last question before you go! I love all things Disney, so other than the Unnoficial Guide and Birnbaum's, what are the best guide OR information books about Disney that you have read? Tks so much for your help planning my last 3 vacations to WDW!

    Hello fellow Kentuckian!

I'm sorry to say that Erin has already gone, but I didn't want your question to go unanswered because of that.

For trip planning, I am fond of Passporter.  I like the format which offers reviews for children of different ages, and the reader rankings of restaurants.  I also really like the idea of having a guidebook and a travel journal in one.  Beyond the book, Passporter offers a very nice online site as well, where you can get tips and share information with fellow travelers.

For WDW information such as park history, Lou Mongello has written a couple of excellent books - Walt Disney World Trivia, Vols. 1 & 2.

And for fun in the parks, I like Steve Barrett's Hidden Mickeys book.  You can purchase this in the resort gift shops, but I'd recommend picking it up in advance for a better price.

Hope that helps, and sorry for not being Erin! :)
