Hi Erin In a previous response you mentioned that we can enter a park with evening EMH by just showing our room key (ID card). But would this be allowed if I do not have park hopper option? Thanks!!

Just to clarify a bit, a Disney resort guest can enter a theme park at any time during Extra Magic Hours, by showing their Key to the World card (resort ID) to the cast member attendant at the entrance turnstiles AND by using a park admission ticket. To get into the park during EMH, you need BOTH a resort ID and a park ticket.

As to whether you can get into a park's Extra Magic Hours without a park hopper ticket, that depends on which park (if any) you have been to earlier in the day. With a base ticket only (no park hopper), you could visit the Magic Kingdom in the morning, leave for a while to rest/swim/shop/etc., and then return to the Magic Kingdom for Extra Magic Hours that evening using your base ticket and your resort ID. You could enter the MK at any time during the EMH.

However, if you went to the Magic Kingdom in the morning with a base ticket (no park hopper), you could NOT go to the evening Extra Magic Hours at Epcot, Animal Kingdom, or Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you wanted to go to one park during the day and a different park in the evening (with or without Extra Magic Hours), you would need to purchase a park hopper ticket.
