    Hi Erin, I read that some cast members now carry around little trading packs of Vinylmations? Do you know much about this or have had any experience with this? I'm happy to read about more trading options for our next trip! Thank you

    I'm a HUGE Vinylmation collector - I've got over 1,000 of the little critters staring at me right now. My husband thinks it's frightening, but I think it's delightfully charming and quirky :-)

    I've been doing some sleuthing and have found that the walk-around Vinylmation trading cast members appear to be part of a test. Some CMs have been fitted with fanny-pack-style belts with pockets for several Vinylmations available for trade. The procedure works much like pin-trading where you engage the CM in conversation and negotiate a deal. The belts are still in a testing phase, so no word yet on whether they'll be around at the time of your visit.

    I for one hope that the Vinylmation trading belts are a success. In the past year or so, the trading boxes have been removed from several of the shops at WDW and hours have been limited at others. The trading belts seem like a nice way to reinvigorate a product that hasn't gotten as much love as I'd like to see in recent months.
