Hi Erin. We've never stayed at the Beach Club because I was always thought it was too convention crowd-ish and had too many bus stops with nearby resorts. I'd love to know why it is your family's favorite. P.S. I love the banjo story!

Hi Kara! Yes, there are some convention folks around the Yacht and Beach Club resort, but I have found that they are much more prevalent on the Yacht Club side, because that is where the convention center is. Also, I've always thought that having conventioneers at the resort was an advantage rather than a disadvantage. While those people are busy in their meetings, they're not taking up lounge chairs at the pool.

As for the transportation ... The Beach Club buses that take you to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom do tend to make a few stops along the way (at the Boardwalk Resort and the Yacht Club). But we have always felt that the lack of need for any bus at all to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios more than made up for this. We often make our dinner reservations at Epcot. For us, the ease of the quick walk back to our room at the Beach Club after our Epcot dinner far outweighs the minor inconvenience of five extra minutes on the bus to the Magic Kingdom.

And I have a sad feeling that my lovely banjo is going to gather a bit of dust while I'm working on the Moms Panel.
