Erin, TY for answering my Disney Link ?, I am up and running. My new ? is what is the best bld to stay in for the Carr. Beach hotel. We are staying in a stand. Pirate Rm. I would like close to park and close to food court. We arrive 6-5 Thanks! Karla

I'm so glad you got your Disney Link up and running. And thank YOU for reminding me to reinstall it on my new computer :-) While I have visited there, the Caribbean Beach Resort is one of the few WDW hotels that I have not actually stayed at, so my information is based on research rather than personal experience.

The pirate-theme rooms at CBR are all located in the Trinidad South section of the resort. This is the area that is farthest away from the main building shops and food court. So being in a pirate room and being close to the food court are mutually exclusive room criteria. Fortunately there is now an internal bus system at the CBR. There is a bus stop located right at Trinidad South where you will find transportation to the main building (of course, you are welcome to walk there as well) and to the theme parks.

When you say you would like "close to park" I'm not 100% sure what you're asking. If you want to know if you can park a car close to the pirate rooms, the answer is yes, there are parking lots located all over the CBR, many of which are quite near the Trinidad South section. If you're asking if you can get close to the theme parks, the answer is not really, but it doesn't much matter. The closest parks to CBR are Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The only way to get there, or to any of the Disney parks, is to drive or take a Disney bus. As noted above, there is both parking and a bus stop quite near the pirate rooms.

To get a better sense of the situation, you might want to check out a map of the resort. You can find one on the independent website allears.net. Search there for the "Caribbean Beach Fact Sheet," from there you'll find a link to a map of the resort.

I hope you and your pirate have a wonderful time at WDW!
