Hi Erin; Thinking about bkft @ Tusker House but concerned about the menu (as seen @ allears.net). We have two picky eaters; do they have mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, etc. or is it only African Cuisine? Will miss your wonderful advice. TYVM.

Lynn,   Unfortunately you just missed Erin, who is now a "retired" Moms Panelist (hopefully to return in the future!!).  When I saw your question addressed to her, I wrote her an email, and she was happy to write up a response for you. So, here it is...

    "Hi Lynn,

Thanks so much for your question. It's nice to be gone but not forgotten. Bret's eagle eye spotted this question and he was kind enough to pass it along to me. So, in a now unofficial Mom capacity, here's the scoop on the Tusker House ...

I've been to the Tusker House breakfast buffet several times. One of my daughters is a very unadventurous eater and we have never had a hint of a problem with her at Tusker House. I'd say that 80% of the food choices there are totally "normal" American breakfast foods: pancakes or waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, yogurt, donuts, and other pastries. The African dishes are all on one somewhat separate table, so it is very easy to avoid them if that's what you're interested in doing. One of the main reasons that I enjoy Tusker House is that I get to try new and unfamiliar foods, but I don't have to worry that my kids will be unable to find their favorites. Everyone is happy.

Good luck with your planning and have a great time at the Animal Kingdom.

    Erin"
