    Erin, thank you for answering my question about GF & Contemporary. I would like to know your thoughts on Yacht club. I understand you like Beach Club better because it is closer to Epcot but if I had to choose between GF, Contemp & Yacht Club which

    Hi Angelika,

    The Yacht and Beach Clubs are sister resorts, offering extremely similar experiences. They share many amenities, including some restaurants and the extraordinary Stormalong Bay pool complex. I actually like the darker wood theming at Yacht Club more than the pastel Beach Club. There are really only two things that tip the scales in favor of the Beach Club for me. 1) The Beach Club is about a three minute closer walk to Epcot than the Yacht Club. When I stay in that area, I often end up pooping into Epcot several times a day, so the walking can add up. 2) Because the Beach Club has the attached Villa wing, the gift shop has a wider variety of packaged food options. All that is a long way to say that the Yacht Club is a WONDERFUL resort. If I were slightly less lazy, I would stay there all the time.

    I'm getting the feeling that you're really looking for a deluxe experience. Given that, I'd take the Contemporary out of the mix. It's a great hotel, but to me it just doesn't feel as special as the GF or Yacht Club. If you're choosing between GF and Yacht, I'd make my decision based on two factors: where you'll be spending most of your theme park time, and how much your kids like spend time in the water. If you think you'll be spending the majority of your time at the Magic Kingdom, then I'd choose the GF. If you'll spread our touring evenly among all the parks, then the YC is a great choice. Also, while the GF has nice pools, if your kids are real water babies, then I'd vote for the YC. I'm happy to help more, just let me know what you need.
