Erin- thank you for your answer earlier. We are going under brother-in-law's DVC membership next week (16-19). So then can we pool hop? How do Wilderness Lodge or AK pools compare to Sara. Spgs?

The Saratoga Springs pool is great (there are actually several pools there) but the main central one has a large slide that's lots of fun. I personally prefer the themeing at the Wilderness Lodge and the Animal Kingdom. Of these, the Animal Kingdom pool is the newer and fresher of the two.

But unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to visit the Lodge pools. I've just done much research here to make sure I get it right. Here's the scoop on DVC pool hopping ...

DVC members ONLY (not guests) are allowed to pool hop except to the pools at the Yacht and Beach Clubs and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Additionally, there are blackout dates where DVC members cannot pool hop at all. For the remainder of 2008 the blackout dates are:

    - May 23-26
    - June 28 - July 5
    - August 29 - September 1
    - November 24 - 30
    - December 14 - January 4, 2009

So, the upshot of this is that no, you cannot legally pool hop during your vacation. I'm sure you'll have a great time at Saratoga Springs.
