    Hi Erin. We're staying at the Polynesian. How do you get to downtown disney from there and how long does it take? How about getting back to the Poly from there about 11PM?

    There are buses that run from the Polynesian and the Ticket and Transportation Center (a five minute walk away from the Poly) to Downtown Disney. The ride itself is about 20 minutes long, but I always budget at least double that in case you end up waiting for a bus to arrive. You'll also want to add time to walk from the Downtown Disney bus stop to whichever restaurant or other venue you'll be visiting.

    To return to the Poly in the evening, just go to either of the two Downtown Disney bus stops and take a bus to the Polynesian or a bus to the Transportation and Ticket Center, whichever comes first. The buses run until the wee hours. You won't have any problem finding transportation back to your hotel at 11:00 p.m.
