Hi Erin! We have a stay coming up at the Grand Floridian; had an excellent experience last time. Are we able to use the facilities at the Beach Club because it sounds like that would make for a great swim day as well

    Hi Michelle,

I've stayed at both the Beach Club and Grand Floridian many times. They are both wonderful resorts. You really can't go wrong with either one.

That being said, my family finds the pool at the Beach Club to be vastly superior to the one at the Grand Floridian. It is larger, with more interactive features, and a real sand bottom that is fabulous for castle building.

Unfortunately, "pool-hopping," or using the water facilities of other resorts, is generally not allowed at Walt Disney World. The Beach Club is quite strict about checking resort IDs of guests entering the pool facilities. Because the pool is so enticing, they want to make sure that there is ample room for the guests that are actually booked at the resort to use it.

My suggestion is that you plan an additional visit tot Walt Disney World and Beach Club next time!
