Hi Erin, do you have any standard room recommendations (buildings, floors...) for my family staying at the beach Club in July? We will be riding the bus most days as well as playing in the pool with the kids (13 & 3). Thanks

If you're a frequent reader of the Panel, you know that I'm a huge Beach Club fan. While I have stayed in the main hotel several times in the past and will be doing so again later in 2009, for the past several years most of my Beach Club stays have been in the Villas. So unfortunately, I'm not totally up to speed on exact room recommendations myself. Fortunately I do have my handy dandy Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. After doing incredible amounts of research, the editors at the Guide say that the best standard rooms at the Beach Club are those with full balconies, facing the woods and Epcot. These are the even numbered rooms 3512 to 3536 and 4578 to 4598. There are nicer rooms with water views, but these have an additional fee.

Have a wonderful trip to WDW and enjoy your stay at the Beach Club resort!
