Hi Erin - saw your response regarding Christmas decorations and am hoping you can answer the following ?....we are planning to visit WDW Aug.31-Sept.5. Do you know if the fall/Halloween decorations will be up yet in the MK? We would love to see them!

I'm sorry to disappoint, but there are no grand Halloween decorations like there are for the winter holidays. There are some Halloween decorations that come out specifically during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but these are not left out during the day and the resorts do not get any special Halloween decor. The first night of the Halloween Party is September 5, so it looks like you miss that too. The only evidence of Halloween you might find is some themed merchandise for sale in the stores and maybe a hay bale in front of the Magic Kingdom advertising the Party.

There is really no comparison between Christmas and any other holiday at WDW. I was at Disney World a few years ago on Valentines Day and expected to see some sort of decoration or celebration and virtually nothing was different than any other day. Really the only time of year when you'll see special decor changes at Disney World is between mid-November and early-January.
