Hi Erin! I just saw Diane's answer to a ? about autographs. Will the characters really NOT sign a shirt if you are wearing it? This was our master plan - wear the shirts, have them signed on the back, then go home and make a quilt. Will they sign them?

Diane is correct. They really won't sign clothing if you are wearing it. Those character hands are big and clumsy - I can't imagine the trouble Mickey would get into if he tried to sign the shirt of a teenage girl while she was wearing it :-)

Many guests do, however, get t-shirts signed by characters. They bring the shirts with them in a bag or backpack. Also, for something like a shirt you'll need to provide a hard surface for the character to sign against. You could use a stiff piece of cardboard or a book. Place the cardboard inside the shirt and secure it in place with binder clips or rubber bands. After your shirts are signed, you can wear them with pride (I know I would) and the make them into a beautiful souvenir quilt.

    Enjoy!
