    Hi Erin!! Have reservations for Mickey's BBQ with the DDDP. I know Mickey's is up to weather. This is also the last night of our trip. If rain cancels or has a chance of cancelling how do I find out and how hard is it to get a 2 table seating elsewhere?

    There are a few outdoor dining experiences at WDW that are impacted by weather conditions. We once had reservations for the Spirit of Aloha Luau (another outdoor dining event) when it was canceled for weather. When we checked in to our WDW resort, we gave them my husband's cell phone number. We actually had someone at Disney call his cell to tell us that the show was being canceled for the night. They gave us options for a refund or rebooking. As it was near the end of our trip, we opted for the refund.

    If conditions look threatening on the day of your dinner, you could also stop at the Guest Relations office in one of the theme parks or at the concierge or guest relations desk at your hotel. They will be able to call the BBQ and get up to the minute news on the status of the meal.

    As for how difficult it might be to get a replacement meal, that depends on many factors -- what time you want to dine, what time of the year you're visiting, where you want to eat, etc. There's always somewhere to eat at Disney World, but in a last minute situation you might not get your first choice or you might have a lengthy wait for a table. My suggestion is that if the situation looks iffy, call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE on the morning of your BBQ and make a back-up reservation for the evening. The earlier you reserve the better chance you'll have of being happy with your meal situation.
