    Hi Erin, I recently saw a ? about Illuminations Cruise. I would love to do that during my family's vacation. Do we use a park ticket to be in Epcot? How do we go about getting to Boardwalk or Yacht Club to pick up boat? Thankyou for all your help.

    The Illuminations cruises take place outside of Epcot, not actually within it, so you do not need to use an Epcot admission ticket to participate.

    If you do happen to be in Epcot, then getting to the Boardwalk area is easy. Simply exit the park via the International Gateway located between the England and France pavilions. The Yacht Club and Boardwalk resorts are both about a five minute walk from there.

    You can also use the free Disney transportation to get to both the Yacht Club and Boardwalk from anywhere on WDW property. If you are at your hotel or another one of Disney parks, take Disney transport (usually a bus) to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From the outside of DHS there is a free boat that will take you to either the Yacht Club or Boardwalk.
