Hi Erin. Did I read correctly that Goofy and Pluto are not necessarily at MK? Under character greetings, it lists Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and others, but NOT Pluto or Goofy (my 2 yr old son's FAVORITE) Thanks so much! (we love your sense of humor!!)

Thanks for the kind words. Gawsh you make me smile :-)

I am somewhat obligated to tell you that no character experience at WDW is ever 100% guaranteed. OK, now that I've gotten that legalish mumbo-jumbo out of the way, I can tell you that you will definitely see Pluto and Goofy in the Magic Kingdom. While Goofy and Pluto do not have regular greeting spots at the MK, both of these dandy dogs are all over the place. I see them both in many WDW locations every time I visit.

One place that I have almost always seen Goofy is at Goofy's Barnstormer in Toontown first thing in the morning. Pluto is often in Toontown when it opens as well. Later in the day, both of them often greet guests on Main Street, right near the park entrance.

To find out exactly where to find Goofy and Pluto, I would go to the Guest Relations office at any of the theme parks; these are noted on the park maps. Ask them to call the "character hotline" for you. The character hotline will be able to tell them if any particular character will be in the parks on a particular day, and if so, where and when the character will be there.

Another great strategy to make sure you see these popular characters is to book a character dining experience with them. Both Goofy and Pluto make regularly scheduled appearances at Ohana at the Polynesian during breakfast and at Chef Mickey's during breakfast and dinner.

    Enjoy your stay at WDW!
