Hi Erin! Quick dining question: I know some dining experiences require a credit card to hold your reservation (i.e. CRT). How does this work if you want to use dining plan credits to pay for your meal?

There are a handful of dining experiences at WDW that do require a credit card to hold a reservation. If you do not show up for your meal, or cancel within the specified window, your credit card will be assessed a penalty fee. But if you do show up for your meal as scheduled, once you're there you can pay for it any way you like. If you want to pay using Disney Dining Plan credits, simply tell your server and your credit card will not be charged. Similarly, if you prefer to pay with cash, travelers' checks, or Disney gift cards, tell your server and you can use that payment instead of the credit card too.

    Enjoy your meal!
