    I'm so excited for your trip to CHINA. I've been on several Adventures by Disney trips and China was among the very best. The sights are incredible, the food is delish, and the hotels are fantastic.

    Many guests choose to arrive a few days early for AbD trips, particularly those, like China, involving travel across multiple times zones. Due to scheduling issues, my family arrived in Beijing hours before the trip began. However, many of our trip mates arrived a few days early. Based on their experiences, I would try to take it easy during that period and not expect to do anything too ambitious. Most guests found it difficult to adjust their sleep and ended up taking several long naps during the first few days.

    Disney can certainly help you arrange adding nights to your hotel stay at either end of the trip, often at a reduced rate. Assuming they are on site, your adventure guides can certainly offer suggestions for quick day trips and restaurant choices. The concierge desks at all the hotels in China are also quite good. These are POSH hotels and you won't have any trouble finding assistance in English.
