Hi Erin! I love your answers. We're staying at Beach Club and then switching to AKL. On the day we check out of BC at 11am can we use Stormalong Bay and resort activities until our next check in at 3pm? We don't was to use it as a park day. Thanks!

    Hi Katherine,

Thanks so much for the kind words.

Even though check-out time is at 11:00am, guests retain their privileges at their resort until 11:50pm on their check out day. This means that you can still charge to your room (if you've set up a charge account), use dining plan credits (if you have them), use the Bell Services desk for luggage storage or transfer, and use the recreational facilities such as the pools.

Many guests, particularly those with late day departure flights, continue to use their resort recreation until the evening, even though they no longer have access to their room. If you need them, there are shower facilities adjacent to one of the pools at most resorts. At the Beach Club, they're located in the Ship Shape spa near Beaches & Cream.

In your case, you'd be able to use both the pools at the Beach Club and at the Animal Kingdom Lodge on the day of your resort switch. Cool! While the Yacht/Beach Club pool is my favorite on Disney property, the AKL has great swimming as well, so you have the best of both worlds.

Good luck with your planning. Please let me know if you have additional questions. I'm happy to help.
