Hi, Erin. How likely is it that WDW will offer the 7 for 4 deal again in 2010? If so, when would it be announced? We took advantage of it in June of this year, and saved so much that we want to go again in 2010. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Rebecca,

I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip to Walt Disney World!

I really wish I could give you some solid information. But unfortunately, I can't.

The "Buy 4 Get 3" promotion that happened earlier in 2009 was announced in mid-January. In the past, I might have told you that Disney typically announces major promotions about six months in advance. For example, in recent years this was the announcement window for the fall Free Dining promotions. However, 2009 has been a very atypical year for promotions. The Buy 4 Get 3 was an extraordinary and unprecedented offer. Nothing even close to that generous had been offered in at least a decade. Also this year, the Free Dining promotion was extended past the usual October cutoff into mid-December. With the way things are going, it's possible that new deals could happen at any time. We've heard nothing about any major deals for 2010, but that doesn't mean they won't be happening.

My only advice is to keep your eyes open. I would be sure to subscribe to the newsletters at allears.net, passporter.com, themouseforless.com, and mousesavers.com. If there are promotions, these websites will be sure to announce them.

    Good luck!
