    Erin! So glad to see you here again! Flying in to MCO 4/9. Staying off property that night. Meeting my parents at DD then driving to dinner at Jiko. How much to park at AKL for dinner? How long to drive from DD to AKL? Thanks for your help.

    There is no charge to self park at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (or at any of the Walt Disney World resort hotels). If you'd prefer to use the valet parking service, there is a fee of $12.00 per day - even if you are only using it for the length of a meal.

    Drive time from Downtown Disney varies slightly depending on where you start at Downtown Disney (it's a big place). However, a good rough estimate is that is it about a 12-15 minute drive from there to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you're self parking, you'll want to add about five minutes to walk from the parking lot to the restaurant.

    I had dinner at Jiko on Christmas night - so yummy. I'm sure you'll have a fabulous meal there.
