Hi Erin! Fantasmic Dining Package...worth it? Will be going Oct 14 with grp of 11 ppl incl 2 4 y.o.s. W/out package, in Oct how far ahead would we need to line up for decent seats? Worried about 2 lil ones in line 2 long but dont really like dining options

    Hi Stacie,

If you're not dying to eat at one of the Fantasmic Package restaurants, then I'd say that in October you could easily pass on this. Mid-October is fairly low crowd time at Walt Disney World. I'd say that you would not have to line up more than an hour at Fantasmic, probably much less than this. Even with the Fantasmic Package, you have to show up to theater half an hour in advance, so you're not saving yourself that much time.

Also, not everyone in your group has to waiting in the line the entire time. You could take the kids to the restroom or grab some sandwiches at the nearby quick service stands.

There are times of the year when I would strongly recommend the Fantasmic package. For example, during the holidays guests may line up more than an hour and a half in advance of the show. But in October I would say that this is not a necessity.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
