Hi Erin. I believe you said you have stayed at the Pop Century before. Can you tell me what's great about it and anything else we should know? I'm still not sure about that room size for a family of 4. Thanks for always providing great info!

I've never stayed at the Pop Century. (You may have read that I want to stay there now that I know they you can have unlimited Icees in the refillable mugs there.) I have stayed at the All Star Sports resort, which has similar rooms to the Pop and I have done lots of research. So, I'll answer your question, but it won't be from first hand experience. I think Heather M is our in-house Pop expert. You might want to re-post your question directly to her for a more personal touch.

Here is a list of things people love about the Pop:

    - Affordability. Disney magic at a reasonable price.
    - Themeing. How incredibly cool is a GIANT Magic 8 ball.
    - Transportation. The only value resort that doesn't share bus service with another resort. This makes for faster travel.
    - Food Court. Offerings include "tie-dyed" cheesecake and those endless Icees (mmmm!).
    - Cleanliness. The resort is very well maintained.

Here are some things about the Pop that are issues for some guests. The are general concerns about all the value resorts, not just the Pop:

    - Lack of table service dining and lack of character dining.
    - Possible noisiness of large groups staying there.
    - Lack of "wow" features at the pool. (No giant slides).
    - Small room size. The rooms are only 260 square feet. Officially the room will hold four people, plus one child in a crib. In reality this can be a tight squeeze. The bed are double size, not queen size. There is little space for luggage. There is only one sink in the bathroom. Most of what I've heard is that if you have two adults and two smallish children, then everything works fine. If you have four adults or teens, then you're going to be more uncomfortable.

As I said, this does not come from personal experience, but I hope it gives you a place to start from.
