Hi Erin, you just answered a question about adding the WP option to Hopper tickets and said it could be done at the new lower price. I asked the same thing last month and was told no. Are there any restrictions? We have 7 day tickets staying at AoA.

    Hi Lisa,

I've called WDW and been told that you can apply the value of a Magic Your Way + Park Hopper to the purchase of a Magic Your Way + Park Hopper + Water Park Fun and simply pay the cost difference between the two different types of tickets. Under the new pricing structure, this difference is in the neighborhood of $20 per ticket. This is how all ticket upgrades work at WDW, the value of the existing ticket is applied to the cost of the desired ticket, and you pay the difference.

That being said, Disney World is big, big place and there are cast members with many different levels of training and experience. Whenever I need to do something complicated with my tickets, I make sure to go to a Guest Relations office in the parks rather than a regular ticket window or a resort info desk. In my experience, those folks are usually pretty well informed.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
