In Epcot, is there still a store there that sells various Hello Kitty items by Sanrio?

    Hello Karen!

As the mother of four very dedicated Pokemon fans, I know exactly the store you are asking about! I have spent quite a bit of time over the years browsing the merchandise at The Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan Pavilion in World Showcase. This store is huge, and you’ll find traditional items like kimonos, chopsticks, and pottery, as well as food products, a pick-a-pearl kiosk, and right at the front of the store, you’ll find a large selection of Japanese pop-culture items such as Hello Kitty and Pokemon!

The store is currently open beginning at noon until park closing and is definitely worth a visit. A bit of Disney trivia for you, did you know that the Mitsukoshi Department Store is a store chain from Japan that began by selling kimonos in 1673? There are now multiple locations around the world! And you can shop there too with a trip to Epcot!

I hope this helps, and I hope you get to visit the store very soon.
