Hi Dana,
Disney World transportation is one of my favorite things about staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. I love not having to worry about driving or getting around on vacation. There are so many types of transportation that I think the best way to navigate is by using the
My Disney Experience App. In the My Disney Experience app, you will be able to use the map feature to find the closest form of transportation to you at any point in time. To use this feature click the second icon from the left that looks like a map pin and then filter at the top for "Transportation." Since you are also staying at the
All-Star Music Resort, you will be able to check the bus schedule each day for an idea of when to expect buses to arrive and depart! Your resort hotel is the only place that will have a transportation schedule for you with bus times. All other bus stops and transportation stops will just run continuously starting 45 minutes before Disney theme park opening time and up to 1 hour after Disney theme park closing time.
Bus transportation is the only option available from Disney's All-Star Music Resort. The buses will go to each of the 4 theme parks and Disney Springs. There will be a bus directly from your resort hotel to EPCOT but it will arrive at the front entrance. If you are set on arriving via the Disney Skyliner at the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT, you will have to take the bus from your resort hotel to Disney's Hollywood Studios first. When you arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will be able to jump off the bus and get in line for the
Disney Skyliner to EPCOT.
Since both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT have
Early Entry beginning at 8:30 AM on the date you mentioned, the first bus to Hollywood Studios will likely run right around 7:45. I would make sure to check your app first thing in the morning and arrive at your resort bus stop 10 minutes before the time it lists. This will ensure you make it on the first bus out and have time to still grab the Disney Skyliner before the park opens!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
