Hiya Monica,
Welcome to planDisney!
EPCOT is such a great theme park to visit in the summer. I always love grabbing a bite around World Showcase and checking out all of the different country pavilions. Additionally, since there is currently no festival taking place, it is the perfect time to appreciate the magic that is EPCOT. If you are 21 and older, definitely try to get reservations for
GEO-82. This new lounge is so beautifully themed, and the views are amazing!
So let's talk about how to get there before your trip on Friday. Monica, the best place to park at EPCOT, is conveniently located right outside of the entrance to the theme park. Out of all the parking lots at Walt Disney World, I find this to be the easiest to walk from parking to the gate, no matter where you are parked! There is also a tram that you can take in the parking lot to get you to the front entrance if you don't want to walk it. To navigate to the parking lot, you can input "EPCOT" into any navigation system, or I've found that typing "200 Epcot Center Drive" and then following the signs for EPCOT once you get on the property to get there as well.
I hope this was helpful, Monica. Before I let you go, if you're one of those people who have trouble remembering where you parked (I recently learned that I am now that person), be sure to use the
Car Locator function through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Once you open the app, click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner to get to the menu, scroll down until you see "Car Locator," and select whether you want to save the vehicle location using your phone's location services or by manually inputting it. This way, when you are done for the day, you don't have to search the aisles for your vehicle! It is a lifesaver! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
