I will be in Epcot om 4/29/15 with my husband, my 5 yr old and 4 yr old girls- i made a reservations at La Hacienda at 8:15pm- purely to view Illuminations......can we stay for dessert and not dinner? Should i bother bringing such little kids there?

    Hello Christine,

La Hacienda de San Angel is a beautiful place for families to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. If you and your family, simply want to enjoy a dessert or after dinner beverage, instead of a full course dinner this late in the evening, please, know this is perfectly acceptable and a grand idea. I highly recommend trying the Empanada de Manzana, this scrumptious puff pastry is a dessert favorite for anyone who loves caramel, just think caramel apples, dulce de leche and caramel sauce.  Or, if you want to try something a little corny, Helado de Maize is a unique dessert which tempts Guests with corn ice-cream and candied popcorn. You and your family are sure to find something to tempt your sweet tooth.

Enjoy your evening at Epcot, dining on some wonderful Mexican desserts, while watching a spectacle of lights, lasers and fireworks over World Showcase Lagoon with your family and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
