Hi Lisa, welcome back!
I love getting henna when I visit Walt Disney World! We usually end up with the Henna artists in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, but I just happened to walk by
the station in Morocco on Sunday night, so I had to grab your question!
There's a "whole new world" of choices, ranging from your name in Arabic to a design with
Hidden Mickeys! Prices start at $15 and go up from there, depending on the complexity of the piece (and remember, prices are subject to change). Once you pick your henna art, you will take your ticket and pay inside. Then the fun begins! The henna artists are amazingly efficient, given the complexity of their work — plan on anywhere from five to 20 minutes.
The key to the
henna lasting is keeping your tattoo as still as possible and DRY! Do not pick at the henna as it dries; let it stay on your skin as long as you can. It will eventually flake off. My henna tends to last about a week, when my littles get it - a few days at most! I don't usually do color, but it seems like the color stays brilliant for a few days and then fades along with the rest of the tattoo.
Enjoy your henna in Epcot! Since you are visiting during the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, stop by the
Japan pavillion for Frushi when you are done! It will be the perfect sweet treat after your art.
