Does Epcot still have the miniature train village? I think it was in Germany but I don't remember seeing it the last time we visited. My kids loved the trains so I was hoping to see it at our next visit in 2018. Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christine! Epcot is my family's favorite park at Walt Disney World. We love that we can experience a taste of the culture of so many different countries all in one day at the World Showcase!

My son adores trains. He and his grandfather go to train shows and love to browse the hobby train shop at home as often as possible. At Christmas time, my son spends hours assembling a train beneath our tree and putting extra decorations around it in just the right way. So, you can imagine that riding the Walt Disney World Railroad is also a favorite of his when we visit Magic Kingdom. But, his eyes really light up in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot when we peers into the tiny world of the miniature garden railroad there. Here's a fun blog post from the Disney Parks Blog about the train display at Epcot's Germany Pavilion. The post is from a few years back, and the display has been updated since then, but the train is still there, chugging away!

Your kids will love to enjoy some downtime just daydreaming and watching the trains at Epcot. Once they are age ten or older, you might consider Disney's The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour where you'll get behind-the-scenes access to the trains before the Magic Kingdom even opens, along with all sorts of insider information and tours, and learn more about Walt Disney's love for trains, which I see your children share!

Have such fun planning your magical adventures, Christine!
