Going to Epcot & daughter will be bringing her Lab service dog. When they go to concerts/sporting events (anywhere a rush when doors open), someone always steps on him (even though he’s wearing his vest). Is there a disability entrance she can use?

    Hi Michael!

Welcome to planDisney!  I'm so excited that you have an upcoming visit planned to EPCOT!  I love checking out all of the countries around World Showcase.  And by checking them out, I really mean snacking my way around the world!

Michael, Walt Disney World Resort does a great job of accommodating guests with disabilities and strives to provide an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy a magical visit to the parks.  Service animals are welcomed in the parks and Disney has prepared some very useful information on bringing service animals with you that you may find helpful.  This includes details about service animal relief areas and details on boarding attractions.  While each entrance for attractions may vary on the accommodations offered, you'll find a Cast Member near those entrances who will be able to assist you with the best option for your daughter and her service dog.  You can also visit a Guest Experiences team member located at Guest Relations or by the blue umbrellas found around the parks with any questions while in the park.

If snacking your way around the world is also in your plans for EPCOT, I wanted to share a few of my favorite spots before saying goodbye.  In Norway, you'll want to stop by Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.  While everyone always talks about the famous School Bread here, my personal favorite is the Eplekake!  If you're sweet tooth still isn't fully satisfied after a visit to the bakery, swing over to Germany for a visit to Karamell-Küche for caramel-covered EVERYTHING.  When it's time for a meal, I like to visit Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Adventure pavilion.  One of my favorites on their menu is the BBQ Jackfruit Burger.  You can also use Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering when you visit this location and many other Quick-Service locations around EPCOT which will let you spend less time in lines and more time enjoying your day!

Michael, I hope this information is helpful as you put the finishing touches on your plans to visit EPCOT next month!  If you have any other vacation planning questions in the future, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
