    Epcot Christmas decorations last?

Welcome to planDisney, Doris! It looks like you'll be celebrating the start of a new year at the Walt Disney World Resort, and with so many exciting things on the horizon for 2025 at the parks, it's going to be a great year to make some magic!

Doris, the Christmas decorations throughout the theme parks and Disney Resort hotels add a special seasonal ambiance that helps us all delight in the magic of the holiday season, but with the transition to a new year, those decorations usually start to come down during the first week of January. At EPCOT specifically, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is set to end on December 30, so I would expect the decorations to start disappearing at any time after that. Typically, the Christmas decor is completely tucked away by the start of Marathon Weekend, which is scheduled for the weekend of January 8-12, 2025, so with your arrival date of January 5, there's a chance that you may still catch a glimpse of some decorations at the start of your trip. I know this may not be the magical answer you had hoped for, Doris, but I'm hoping Santa's elves might work a little slower this year so you'll be able to see their festive decor before it's boxed away until next year.

I hope this helps, Doris, and I hope you will get one last look at the magic of Christmas during your visit! If you have any other planning questions as you count down the final days to your arrival, come on back to planDisney and let us know! We can't wait to see what magic you'll find in 2025!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
