    Hi! We are Epcot Area Resort junkies! I am trying to talk my family into trying Wilderness Lodge, but they think the transportation to all the parks will be much more inconvenient. Do you think that is the case?

    Hi there Lori! As a fan of the Epcot Resort Area myself, I can completely understand your dilemma! My family has actually stayed at Disney's WIlderness Lodge on several of our last Walt Disney World vacations and did not find the location to be inconvenient. In fact, we love being able to take the motor launch (water taxi) to Magic Kingdom Park and find the boat ride to be quick with beautiful views on Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon. Regardless of which Walt Disney World Resort we are staying at, my family traditionally drives to any theme parks that require bus transportation. We often park hop and find it to be much easier when traveling by car. If you will not have a car during your vacation and primarily visit Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, then I can certainly understand wanting to stay at one of the Epcot Area Resorts again. However, if you will have access to a car and tend to visit all of the theme parks, then I would recommend giving Disney's WIlderness Lodge a try. My family loves the rustic theming, relaxing atmosphere, and various dining locations that are unique to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Although Disney's Beach Club Resort is definitely my favorite Walt DIsney World Resort, I have found through trying different resorts, that my husband and children discovered their favorites were not the same as mine.
