Where can I enter my reservation number to link my reservation to my account

Hi Lauren, and welcome to planDisney!

How exciting that you have a reservation made to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! There is nothing quite like the feeling of getting a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the books! It sounds like you are ready to embark on planning a magical vacation, so let’s get started by linking your reservation to your My Disney Experience account.

If you do not see your existing Resort hotel reservation on the My Reservations page in My Disney Experience, and it has been more than 24 hours since you made your reservation, there are a few simple steps to follow in order to link your reservation to your account. First, make sure that you have created a My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website or in the My Disney Experience mobile app.

On the website, once you have created your account, you can link your reservation by opening My Disney Experience. You select “My Plans,” then select “Resort Hotel.” Finally, select “Link a Reservation.” You can then enter the confirmation number and the last name on the reservation. That’s all there is to it!

On the app, open the main menu by selecting the three “stacked” lines on the bottom right of the home screen, and then select “Future Plans.” You will see the prompt, “Missing a reservation?” then select “Link to Account,” select “Type ID” and then enter the confirmation number and last name on the reservation. Finally, select “Link Resort.” Then you should be good to go!

Now that you have your reservation linked to your account, we can really get to the fun stuff!  You can continue making magical plans including Dining Reservations for the entire length of your stay (up to a 10-night stay) beginning 60 days in advance of your trip. And, Lauren, don’t forget to make your Theme Park Reservations. If you haven’t purchased Theme Park tickets, please be sure to view theme park reservation availability online. If you purchased tickets as part of a vacation package, make theme park reservations now.

Lauren, I know from experience that there are lots of details that go into creating magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations, so please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any more questions. Like Genie says, you ain’t never had a friend like me and all of us here at planDisney!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
