Hi, Florine,
Thanks for stopping by the planDisney Panel with your question. I love using the
My Disney Experience mobile app during our family's visits to Walt Disney World Resort. My wife and I use the app to update our plans, make dining reservations, and browse restaurant menus before we
place a mobile order at select quick-service locations. Even our oldest son enjoys using the app to check attraction wait times and preview our
Disney PhotoPass photos.
At the present time, the My Disney Experience app allows you to manage your Disney Resort reservations, tickets, MagicBands, and cards. However, to enter a theme park, Guests currently need a MagicBand, a Key To The World card, or a paper theme park ticket for park entry. If you have a MagicBand from a previous visit, you're welcome to reuse it!
As a reminder, once you purchase your theme park tickets, you will also need to
make a theme park reservation through the Disney Park Pass system. Currently, all Guests ages 3 and older must have a park reservation to enter any of the parks. Before returning to the magic, be sure to read about the enhanced health and safety measures now in place at Walt Disney World Resort.
Please feel free to visit planDisney again with any further questions about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
Have a magical day,
Bob
