Can you enter Epcot via the ferry from the Yacht Club resort? I'm trying to find the easiest route from the MK to the Marrakesh Restaurant in Epcot without having to walk the length of Epcot. Help please. Coming May 5-12/14. If time to WDW.

    Hi Ghae,

Thanks for your question!  I completely understand why you'd want to find the shortest route - you can get a pretty good workout just walking around Epcot a time or two.

Yes, one possible route from Magic Kingdom to World Showcase at Epcot would be to take bus transportation from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and then take the boat transportation to Epcot.  The boat will drop you off at the International Gateway, which is between the United Kingdom and France and a relatively short walk to Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco.

Another option you might consider is to take the monorail from Magic Kingdom (transferring at the Ticket and Transportation Center) to Epcot.  Once you enter Epcot, you can walk straight through Future World and catch the boat across World Showcase Lagoon.  One of the stops is in Morocco, very close to the restaurant.

I think both would be about the same walking distance, so you can choose the option that looks best to you.  Remember, either way, you'll need a valid park ticket for entry into Epcot.

Have a magical time on your vacation, Ghae!  Please let us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel know if you have any other questions.
