Hi there, Kathy! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort!
Oh, boy! It’s a time to celebrate!
Disneyland Resort has finally reopened to the public and is inviting Guests back to experience the magic! During the phased reopening, Disneyland Resort is using guidance from the state of California and local health officials to assure the safety of all who visit.
With this in mind, you may notice a few changes during your upcoming visit! Some alterations you may see include enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Additionally, all Guests ages two and up must wear a face-covering during their visit except when actively eating or drinking. During these times, Guests must also remain stationary and maintain an appropriate physical distance from other Guests.
Until June 15th, 2021, only California residents will be allowed to visit the
Disneyland Resort theme parks and proof of residency may be required. There are actually many different ways you can prove your California residency if you are in the process of renewing your driver’s license! Some of these include providing a bill that states both your name and current address or showing a temporary copy of your driver’s license. Since I’m an over-planner myself, I tend to have as many documents as possible just in case!
I hope this information assists you as you continue to plan your visit to
Disneyland Resort! Be sure to reach back out if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
