Welcome aboard, Christine!
Castaway Cay offers so many activities all day long, that you can spend the whole day busy and still not experience it all!
Check your Personal Navigator or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the day's activities. When my kids were your children's ages, their favorites were the Crab Races, Character Dance Parties, and the Family Whale Dig at Monstro Point. But, playing in the sand at the beach and splashing in the crystal clear water is a way that we always pass a few hours at Castaway Cay too! My kids also adore the relaxed ride around the island's bike path. They do offer kids' bikes with training wheels and some adult bikes with kids seats on them too, so don't worry if your kiddos aren't quite the best bikers yet. You can pre-book bikes or simply walk up that day to do so, as there are plenty to choose from. Have more play time at Spring-A-Leak water playground and of course a few rides down the waterslides at Pelican Plunge. In Da Shade Games offers huge oversized versions of kids' favorite games like Connect Four, which my kids love to play when we need a little time out of the sun.
Scuttles Cove youth club on the island has activities with the counselors from the ship all day for ages three to 12, so that's a great option too. Parents can sneak away to relax at Serenity Bay, the adult exclusive beach while their kids have wet and wild playtime. Lunch is included at Cookies BBQ and Cookies, Too! And my kids would not want me to forget to let you know that the soft serve is free all day too!
There are some great
Port Adventures available, but if you're looking to save money, no need to book one here, since so much is already included. Happy planning, Christine!
