Hi Allison!
How wonderful that you are celebrating Valentine's Day at
Walt Disney World! I visit the parks every year on my birthday, which is also in February! It's a wonderful time of year to visit because the weather is great, crowds are low, and there are tons of fun things to do.
Love is in the air at Walt Disney World around Valentine's Day. As Pocahontas said, “We'll build a bridge of love between two worlds.” You can find special Valentine's Day treats and sweets in the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Last year,
The Ganachery had a Sweetheart Minnie Piñata which was a chocolate Minnie Mouse filled with marshmallows and chocolate. It even came with a little wooden hammer to break it open!
Amorette’s Patisserie had a Hearts of Romance Cake, which was a strawberry shortcake designed especially for Valentine's Day.
Many restaurants will also have a special Valentine's Day menu.
Paddlefish had a special menu with Cupid’s Ravioli, which was a lobster and ricotta-filled pasta.
Maria & Enzo’s also had a Valentine's Day menu with special cocktails and dishes, including a Valentine's Day Cocktail Flight.
In the parks, you can find Valentine's Day-themed treats and sweets.
If you would like to see Pocahontas and John Smith, head over to Disney's Animal Kingdom. They make an appearance on the
Character Cruises along the Discovery River. It's fitting for Pocahontas to make an appearance at Discovery River, as she has said: “What I love most about rivers is you can't step in the same river twice. The water's always changing, always flowing."
I hope you have a great Valentine's Day at Walt Disney World!
Magically,
Stacy
