We enjoyed our first Disney Cruise so much we are returning for Cruise #2. Trying to decide if we redo the Eastern Caribbean itinerary with more days at sea because we love the time on the ship or try the Western Caribbean to see more ports? Suggestions?

Welcome aboard, Bev! I'm so happy to hear that you had such a wonderful experience on your first cruise with Disney! Planning your second sailing with Disney Cruise Line is even more fun, I think, because now you've got a great idea of what happens onboard and what offerings there might be. It will help you to better plan!

I would suggest trying out the Western Caribbean itinerary this time since you've already experienced the Eastern Caribbean. There are plenty of options for sailing to the Western Caribbean including additional days at sea, so you'll still have lots of time onboard to explore the ship. But, if you haven't visited some of these other ports, why not try them out. You'll find all sorts of exciting Port Adventures that take you to the best spots in each port and show you an adventure like only Disney can do!

I love the turtle farm in Grand Cayman Island, and there are a few adventures offering that as part of the trip. We also enjoyed our visits to Cozumel, among many of the other Western ports. There is quite a bit of history and culture to learn and enjoy when you head into port in Cozumel and other areas in Mexico there. My family tries to incorporate some learning when we take our Port Adventures, and there are many opportunities for that on this itinerary.

I don't think you will regret choosing a different itinerary for your second sailing, Bev. Disney's ships are fabulous floating resorts, so I understand that you want to spend lots of time onboard, but don't forget that half the fun is exploring the new ports that they visit, so try out some new spots this time! You might find a new favorite!

Have fun as you plan and stop back if you have other questions before you set sail. I'm happy to help!
