We want to end our day at Magic Kingdom with dinner at the Kona Cafe' and then watch the fireworks and boat parade from the beach at Poly. Can we take a bus from there to the Pop Century without having to go back to MK and face the exiting crowd?

Hi there, Darren! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for reaching out and allowing us to help you with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

That sounds like an excellent way to end your magical day at Magic Kingdom! Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort holds a very special place in my heart as one of the dining locations that my family and I always make a point of eating here during our vacations. Kona Cafe offers a good mix of a relaxing environment and delicious South Pacific food offerings.

While you cannot take bus transportation directly from Disney’s Pop Century Resort to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you can do so with the Minnie Van Service! This transportation service offers private transportation operated by friendly Cast Members. Minnie Vans may be reserved and paid for through the Lyft app which makes the entire process a breeze! This has got to be one of my top tips for Guests looking for transportation directly between Disney Resort hotels!

I would also recommend hanging around Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for a bit after your dining experience! If you do this, you can catch the classic Electrical Water Pageant from the beach of this resort around 9:00 pm. This special water show is the perfect way to end your day with a pinch of classic Disney magic!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
